Offerings to Pele.
|
We spent all day at the Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, climbing on recent lava, looking into deep craters, and being constantly amazed at the power of the earth to renew itself. Shown here are offerings left at the edge of the Kilauea Caldera crater to appease Pele, Goddess of Fire.
