Lava carvings.
|
The petroglyphs in the field near Waikoloa Beach Resort are just off the parking lot of a shopping center, making it seem almost too easy to access history. There are many different markings from a range of years (one of the inscriptions was marked '1860') but it is impossible to indisputably date rock carvings.
